8. Chinese New Year Celebration at WVPS
Our school joyfully welcomed the Year of the Horse with a series of exciting and festive activities!
The celebration began with engaging classroom activities, where pupils
explored Chinese New Year traditions through hands-on arts and crafts and
interactive learning experiences. Our MK children confidently presented
a mini skit showcasing how families welcome guests, enjoy festive delicacies,
and toss yu sheng together.
This was followed by a vibrant hall celebration, featuring spectacular
performances such as an energetic lion dance, large flag twirling, dazzling
acrobatics, and captivating performances by both pupils and teachers.
Through these festivities, pupils deepened their appreciation of Chinese
New Year customs while celebrating together as a joyful school community.
Wishing everyone a Galloping Horse Year filled with energy, progress, and success!
