Co-Curricular Activities (CCA)

In West View Primary, we strongly believe that every West Viewan is a talented pupil who has a talent that can be developed. For our CCA, we offer both modular and core CCA (as shown in the diagram below) to provide our pupils with the opportunity to develop their interests and talents, while developing their character, values and leadership.

CCA Modular

CCAs also serve as a common space for friendships and social integration. Our school-based Modular CCA, also known as STRIVE@WVPS, expose our pupils to a broad range of experiences in the various domains such as Sports and Games, Performing and Visual Arts, ICT and Life Skills. These fun-filled experiences include archery, ethnic dance, inline skating, public speaking and coding. All pupils from Primary Three to Six participate in STRIVE@WVPS during curriculum hours.

Visual & Performing Arts

Discover how pupils express their creativity, build confidence, and develop their talents through the visual and performing arts.

Pupils celebrate cultural diversity through traditional dance movements, colourful costumes, music, and group performances.

Ethnic Dance

Pupils perform energetic hip-hop dance movements together, developing their rhythm, coordination, confidence, and teamwork.

Pupils perform lively K-pop dance routines together, developing their rhythm, coordination, confidence, and teamwork.

K-Pop

Sports

Pupils participate in a variety of sporting activities to build their fitness, coordination, teamwork, resilience, and confidence.

Pupils take part in a swimming lesson, learning water-safety skills and developing their swimming techniques, confidence, and physical fitness.

Pupils take part in a lively game of dodgeball, developing their agility, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Pupils practise archery by aiming bows and arrows at targets, developing their focus, coordination, patience, and confidence.

Pupils work together to strike, catch, and control a large Kin-Ball, developing their coordination, communication, and teamwork.

Pupils develop practical life skills and learn to use digital tools safely, confidently, and responsibly.
