Chinese New Year Celebration

A Bountiful Year of the Dragon

This Year of Dragon came early for West View staff and pupils. We celebrated our Chinese New Year Celebration on

20 January, 2012 (Friday). Chinese New Year, also known as the spring festival, is the most important celebration in

the Chinese calendar. The spring festival celebrates the start of new life and the season of ploughing and sowing.

Elderlys from Bright Hill Evergreen Home also joined in our celebration. This year, we had the honour of having

Zhenghua Primary School’s lion dance troupe to put up a marvelous performance for our pupils.

All staff and pupils enjoyed the performances put up by the Mother Tongue Department.
