The P5 pupils went for an adventure camp held at Ulu Tiram in Johor Bahru, Malaysia from 31st March to 2nd April. The theme of the camp was ‘All for one and one for all’. The main objective of this camp was to build resilience in the pupils. As such, they took part in many thrilling activities such as jungle trekking, river-crossing and flying fox. They also learnt basic survival skills such as making a raft and outdoor-cooking.
Three pupils share their thoughts with us. “I learnt that teamwork is important. Jungle trekking was fun. I was frightened that I would be lost. I enjoyed the camp.” Han Ling, 5 Adventurous
“I was very happy and had a good time there. My favourite obstacle was the Flying Fox. I wish that I can go there again.“ Nehemiah, 5 Energetic
“I enjoyed the camp very much as it built my self-confidence. I enjoyed the campfire and the activities made us laugh.” Jonas Gng, 5 Happy
