West View celebrated International Friendship Day on 8^th April. The theme for 2011 was ‘The World At Home’. The focus was on encouraging our pupils to engage with new citizens and non-Singaporeans who have made Singapore their home. This interaction would enable us to learn new things which will enrich our own lives. This theme was brought ‘home’ to West View by several of our very own International Students (IS). Clad in their traditional clothing, they shared songs, artifacts and interesting facts about their respective countries. P4 teachers and pupils also did a folk dance called Cimo Cimo on the stage, much to the delight of the audience.
