Clean & Green Singapore Schools’ Carnival 2011 West View Primary School collaborated with Pfizer Asia Pacific Pte Ltd under the Corporate and School Partnership programme (CASP) in various green efforts, such as the construction of a rainwater harvesting system in 2010 and the solar garden in 2011. Besides receiving Pfizer’s professional input to the school’s green projects, West View Primary School also took part in Pfizer’s road show on Green Movement in 2010. This year, the company will be setting up a booth showcasing their green efforts at the Go Green Competition held in the school. The school’s Malay dance troupe has also been invited to perform at Pfizer’s Hari Raya Celebrations. The school’s partnership with Pfizer has grown from strength to strength since it collaborated on the CASP in 2010. The school expects this win-win partnership to sustain over the coming years as they work closely to promote the green movement within the North West CDC. This year, the school is co-organising the Go Green video competition for cluster schools, which will be held on 24 September 2011. The Clean & Green Singapore Schools’ Carnival 2011 was held on 9th and 10th November. The solar garden project received a merit award for the environment project competition. |
