Conversational Chinese or Malay (CCM) Course for P3 & P4
As part of our school efforts to equip our pupils with lifelong skills to interact with others and understand different cultures in our community, we have organised Conversational Chinese or Malay (CCM) course for primary 3 and primary 4 pupils in term 2 as post exam activities. The objective of the programme is to enable our pupils to converse using simple sentences in Chinese or Malay. The programme also brings about a greater understanding of each other's culture. Lessons are designed to be fun, which enable them to converse in the new language at a basic level.

Other than using the programme's curriculum and teaching slides provided by MOE, teachers and trainers have come up fun activities like games and role-playing to liven up the class. Pupils have the opportunity to play  traditional  instruments like Angklung, Rebana and Chinese flute. At the end of the programme, pupils put up a skit through using the third language they have learnt.

Conversational classes are good opportunities for pupils to learn a second language that is not their mother tongue.  We hope pupils will be able to communicate better with their friends of other races using the language they have learnt.
