The Prefectorial Board manages the well-being of the prefects in the school. A pupil is first identified and selected for this post at end of P2 based on the recommendation of the class teacher. The pupil is interviewed by one of the teacher-advisors for the prefects on his suitability as a prefect. At the beginning of P3, he will be put on probation for a month. After his probation, he will be confirmed as a prefect during the Prefects: Investiture. Teachers also periodically give feedback to the teachers in charge with regards to the prefects' behaviour and learning attitude. At the end of each year, the form and co-form teacher will give feedback through the nomination/evaluation form to the teachers in charge of Pupil Leadership to ascertain he/she should remain in the prefectorial board. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the pupil once selected will serve in this capacity until he/she graduates from P6 and leaves the school.
