Our Rugby Junior Squad took part in the Singapore Rugby Union / Standard Chartered U-11 Tournament on the 6th of September and we emerged Champions, beating 4 schools with resounding score lines!

It was a wonderful prelude to our Inaugural Rugby Achievement Night on the 7th September. The Rugby Achievement Night was organized to celebrate the successes of our squads in 2011 and to crown our Player of the Year!

Joehann Johari of 6 Facinating is our first Player of the Year. His steadfastness and determination in defence led us to 3rd placing in the Nationals. Joehann is not just an outstanding Rugby player but an outstanding pupil overall. By winning the Player of the Year award, he will serve as an inspiration to a new generation of players at West View.

Once again, the West View Rugby CCA has done the school proud by emerging Zonal Champions for both the Junior and Senior Divisions. Our Senior squad emerged second runner-up in the Nationals. This is the third year they finished among the Top 4. With the Junior National championship coming up in July, all eyes are now on the Junior squad to see if they can achieve even greater success.
